Design In Sight is the first design and research competition for students in the UK & Republic of Ireland.
It’s run by us here at The Big Picture; an international qualitative research agency specialising in design research.
Our aim in running the competition is to:
“encourage the next generation of designers to embrace insight-led design, and champion the role of consumer research within the design process.”
To achieve this, we’ve devised a competition that challenges students to undertake consumer research in order to help inform how they re-imagine a brand for the future.
Within this process, we’ll share the basic principles of design research with students and give them an insight into ‘our world’.
Entries will be judged by a panel comprising branding experts, design agencies, and – of course – The Big Picture. Shortlisted entries will be on display at our summer awards ceremony, and the winner(s) of the competition will be rewarded with a paid internship with award-winning design agency Brand Opus.
